Considera, alma perdida,
en aqueste paso fuerte
dieron sentencia de muerte
al redentor de la vida.

El que a los cielos creó
y a la tierra le dió el ser
que por su amor quiso caer
al tercer paso que dió.
Considera cuál sería
en tan recíproco amor,
la pena del Salvador
y el martirio de María.
Perdió la ira y el compás
cuando dispuso, severa,
que algo menos padeciera
porque padeciera más.
El que luz al mundo dió
con semblante sereno
por estar de sangre lleno
en un lienzo imprimió.
Tus culpas fueron la causa
y el peso que le rindió,
si segunda vez cayó,
en tu llanto no hagas pausa.
Si a llorar Cristo te enseña
y no aprendes la lección,
o no tienes corazón
o será de bronce o peña.
Considera cuán tirano
serás con Jesús rendido
si en tres veces que ha caído
no le das ni aún la mano.
A la misma honestidad
los verdugos desnudaron
y las llagas renovaron
con inhumana crueldad.
En medio de dos ladrones
en la cruz lo enarbolaron
y el cuerpo descoyuntaron
al clavarlo los sayones.
Aquí murió el Redentor;
Jesús, ¿cómo puede ser
que tanto amor llegó a ver
y que viva el pecador?
Los clavos, qué compasión,
y espinas que le quitaron,
segunda vez traspasaron
de María el Corazón.
Llegó al ocaso la luz;
entra, Cristiano,
sin tasa y en el sepulcro repasa
los misterios de la cruz.

History
The Alabado sung during the stations of the cross on Holy Friday or at any vigil, it is a thought and inner conscious provoking hymn that acknowledges the Passion and then points out that "severe that something suffered less because one suffered more. To end the hymn while nailed on the cross, Jesus asks "how can it be that you never had seen so much love and to live as a sinner?" Jesus is amazingly asking of how can his body of work of love and healing, and now treated to die as a sinner?
Consider, lost soul,
in this horrendous scene
that gave sentence of death
to the redeemer of life.
Bear in mind what is cost Him,
ungrateful one, your Creator,
in order to be your Redeemer

He who created the heavens
and gave to the earth its being,
who out of His love was willing to fall
at the third step He took.
Consider what would be,
that love is very reciprocal
the sorrow of the Savior
and the martyrdom of Mary.
Lost was the anger and when
available the compass,
severe that something suffered less
because one suffered more.
Of the he light that was given to the world
with serene countenance,
to be filled with the blood
of the printed canvas.
Your faults are the cause
and the weight that you paid him,
if the second time he fell
you could not stop your weeping.
If Christ teaches you to mourn
if you do not learn this lesson,
you do not have a heart
or it is of bronze or rock.
Consider how tyrant
you will be that with Jesus wearing down
if that in the three times he fell,
you did not give him your hand.

the executioners disrobed him
and the sores renewed themselves
with inhumane cruelty.
In between two thieves
on the cross they raised him
and his body dislocated
by the nailing of the executioners..
Here died the Redeemer;
Jesus asked "how can it be that you
never had seen so much love
and to live as a sinner?"
The nails, what compassion
and the spines they removed,
second time they transferred him
to Mary the Heart.
He arrived at the sunset light;
